Aiming to become “all-rounders who can support people’s health”

Principles and goals

Mission

We contribute to an enriched and healthy life for people of this community.

In order to achieve this,
we devote ourselves to providing high-quality regional medical care for life as “all-rounders who can support people’s health” in cooperation with the people and institutions around us.
We also cultivate human resources who can carry this out and actively participate in academic and social activities geared toward maintaining and developing regional medical care.

Vision

We confront all health problems sincerely and provide the best care.

In order to achieve this,

  • We make an effort to improve our skills for life and provide the latest and best evidence-based care.
  • We collaborate closely and work jointly with specialists from other departments, health/medical/welfare specialists, the government, and local residents.
  • We support people’s health from every aspect, including not only medical care, but also increased health and life assistance.
We cultivate “all-rounders who can support people’s health.”

In order to achieve this,

  • We cultivate specialists with proven capabilities as clinicians who can comprehensively deal with health problems observed on a daily basis in primary care at a high level.
  • We systematically provide education in clinical skills as well as educational and research skills and capabilities that can help practitioners exercise leadership in the community (non-technical skills).
  • We provide a university-to-community circulation-type career path so that the students can experience various “opportunities” under a consistent guideline system to foster motivation and the ability to contribute to regional medical care.
We contribute to the further development of regional medical care/general medical care/medical education areas.

In order to achieve this,

  • We promote researches that take advantage of views of local practice, widely deliver results, and actively participate in academic activities, such as academic meetings, in this field.
  • We contribute to the advancement of regional medical care through activities related to the establishment and conduct of a comprehensive regional care system and the conduct of regional medical care education.
  • We are actively involved in cultivating all kinds of medical professions using our expertise in general medical care before and after graduation and for life.
