General Practitioner Fellowship Program/Graduate Program

This is a program to help students acquire additional professional skills after general practitioner certification is obtained and to guide them towards becoming leaders responsible for future regional medical care.
In the fellowship program, the students focus on and learn one area in addition to the general practitioner course.
In the graduate program, we cultivate physician scientists who can scientifically clarify answers to questions occurring in local practices and deliver them as evidence. We also established a program to cultivate community-based advanced practical nurses who can work together with general practitioners and exercise their leadership.

Fellowship Program

Palliative medicine Receive the accreditation of palliative medicine specialist and provide high-quality palliative care (including home care).
Home care Receive the accreditation of home care specialist and provide high-quality home care, including end-of-life care.
Cultivation of program manager Spontaneously establish a training program as a program manager and mange the program.
Interprofessional education Understand the theoretical background of interprofessional education and design and provide the education.
Health promotion Spontaneously design and provide education on increased health and disease prevention and cultivate human resources.
Sports medicine Acquire skills necessary for a wide range of fields, including emergency, hospital ward, and outpatient.more
Generalist Acquire skills for medical care with medical support in medical and sports settings.

Graduate Program

Regional medical care Scientifically clarify answers to questions occurring in local practices and deliver them as evidence.
Community-based Spontaneously design and conduct care programs to effect beneficial changes in local medical care.
